Deco Mud is a polymer product that absorbs water. When it does it expands in size about 20X.

It can be used in the place of water in a flower vase and will help feed fresh cut flowers

It can also be used in soil to help prevent evaporation (but it's too pretty for that)

The most likely use though is just as a decoration in a glass vase or bowl.

Makes a perfect centerpiece.

Basically you just pour it into a container of choice, add water and then in about 8 hours it will be full sized.

At this point you drain out the excess water and enjoy.
