Just to shake things up we took our 2 most popular brass bezels (25mm & 18x13mm) and had some plated.
We choose to have some nickel plated and some black-nickel plated. As you might expect the nickel plated ones look shiny like silver. The black-nickel is shiny and dark grey (similar to gun-metal) It's very hard to photograph them and while they look very different in person they look almost identical photographed. Due to the plating process and their small stature they may have stains from the final rinse process they go through. Most can simply be washed off with soap and water, for more stubborn stains use Isopropyl alcohol or a mild metal polish.
